Bill Harper - Circlescribe

Bill Harper, a maths graduate who had retired from Merseyside Fire Service, approached Centec for advice and help after inventing Circlescribe, a mathematical tool that created perfect circles, ellipses and other problematic shapes. Centec helped him to write a business plan, worked out the finances and drew up a marketing strategy. The Times was so impressed that it devoted a full-page article to Bill's invention in its Times Higher Education Supplement in 2003. Today Bill cuts a fine living by selling his Circlescribe and other accessories via his website.
